If your partner turns their back on you while sleeping, it doesn’t automatically mean they’re upset, losing interest, or pulling away. Often it simply means they’re more comfortable sleeping that way, need more personal space, feel warm, or naturally move around during sleep.
What matters more is how they treat you when they’re awake—affection, communication, attention, and whether they seem emotionally connected.
If this is a new change accompanied by emotional distance, then it may be worth gently asking how they’re feeling rather than interpreting the sleeping position alone.
