A married couple was driving along the highway at a steady 40 miles per hour.
The husband was behind the wheel when his wife suddenly looked over at him and said:
“Honey, why are you driving so slowly?”
The husband smiled and replied, “Because I’m following the speed limit.”
She shook her head and said, “You always drive too carefully!”
A few moments later, they passed a sign that said “Speed Limit 40.”
The wife pointed at it and proudly said:
“See! I told you!” 😂
