After I gave birth, I brought my baby girl to meet the grandpa who had raised me.
He was the only father I ever knew after my parents died in a car crash. When I became pregnant at 27 and the man I loved disappeared the night I told him, Grandpa was the one who stayed by my side.
So I expected tears of joy when he finally met my daughter.
