Nobody sat down with Suryia and taught her how to care for baby tigers.

At Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina, a group of tiny tiger cubs was being carefully fed and cared for by human caretakers. The cubs were only about a month or two old, and their daily routine involved plenty of bottle-feeding, cuddling, and attention.

But there was another pair of eyes watching everything.

Suryia, an orangutan at the sanctuary, had become fascinated by the tiny striped babies. She observed the caretakers closely, seemingly paying attention to every movement.

Before long, the orangutan was gently holding the tiger cubs, cuddling them, and even helping with bottle-feeding.
